Requirements

• 4+ years Epic implementation experience, including at least one full-cycle implementation in a clinical or revenue cycle module
• Led Epic workstreams during installs or optimizations with hands-on configuration or build oversight accountability
• Clinical or revenue cycle domain depth; able to facilitate workflow sessions and apply operational context to Epic build decisions
• Structured, execution-focused work style; manages multiple concurrent workstreams and holds teams accountable to timelines
• Proficient in project tracking, issue management, and progress reporting (Microsoft Project, JIRA, or equivalent)
• 3+ years of experience in a healthcare provider, payer, or consulting organization supporting the healthcare space
• BA/BS in a related field required.
• Epic certification in a clinical or revenue cycle domain is strongly preferred.
• PMP, PMI-ACP,CSM, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• Experienced in facilitating agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog management within Epic implementation contexts.
• Familiar with test environment management, build validation cycles, and Epic upgrade/patch processes.

Nice To Haves

• Epic certification in clinical or revenue cycle modules strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic AI, Cognitive Computing, or adjacent modules (NLP, predictive model integration)
• Familiarity with KPI design and measurement frameworks tied to AI adoption or workflow change
• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Epic AI Feature Coordination: Primary coordinator between the Compass AI engagement and client Epic teams for AI feature activation, build sequencing, and environment readiness.
• Workflow Alignment: Partner with clinical and revenue cycle stakeholders to map workflows and ensure Epic AI features align with operational realities before go-live.
• Build and Testing Oversight: Lead build planning, own testing readiness across unit, integration, and UAT phases; resolve configuration issues before go-live.
• KPI Implementation: Define and track engagement KPIs tied to AI feature activation and adoption; escalate performance gaps to engagement leadership.
• Team Coordination: Manage Compass AI delivery pod day-to-day; coordinate priorities across resources, remove blockers, and maintain delivery momentum.
• Status Reporting: Prepare progress reports, facilitate working sessions, and manage risks and issues per the project plan.
