About The Position

As part of the AI Consulting Associate Program, you’ll work closely with DriveWealth’s Brokerage team to explore how AI and automation can improve internal workflows, data analysis, and operational efficiency. This role is designed for highly motivated undergraduate or MBA students who are interested in financial markets, technology, and applied AI. You will partner with brokerage leaders and engineers to identify opportunities where modern AI tools—such as large language models, automation frameworks, and data analysis techniques—can simplify processes, unlock insights from brokerage data, and improve how teams operate. Interns will focus on brokerage data and internal tooling, ensuring projects remain compliant while still delivering meaningful business value. Our summer program will be 10-12 weeks from May - August 2026 with the expectation of being in the office 3-4 days per week, as determined by the sponsor. Compensation will be set at an hourly rate of $35-40 per hour. Top performing associates may have the opportunity to be considered for full-time roles at DriveWealth at the conclusion of the program, based on performance and team needs.

Requirements

Currently pursuing an undergraduate or MBA degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or similar)
Curiosity about financial markets, brokerage infrastructure, and fintech
Familiarity with AI tools, data analysis, or automation (Python, SQL, Excel, or similar)
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Ability to translate technical ideas into clear insights and recommendations
Interest in experimenting with emerging AI technologies to solve real business problems

Responsibilities

Analyze brokerage datasets to identify patterns, trends, or operational insights
Prototype AI-enabled tools that help automate internal brokerage workflows or reporting
Build prompts, lightweight automations, or dashboards using modern AI and analytics tools
Work with brokerage, data, and engineering teams to understand operational processes and identify efficiency opportunities
Research how AI is being applied across brokerage, trading infrastructure, and fintech operations
Present findings, prototypes, and recommendations to internal stakeholders
