About The Position

Join Avenue Z as we transform our operations using AI automation. You'll design SQL workflows, optimize deployment processes, and write the code that powers our AI-powered operating system. This is a hands-on technical role perfect for someone who loves solving problems and making things work better. You'll work directly with the CTO to implement automation solutions – no people management, just pure problem-solving and process improvement.

Requirements

1+ year of experience in a marketing or sales operations or business process improvement
B.S. Degree in Computer Science or 2+ years of hands-on experience with Python and SQL for building, querying, and optimizing data-driven workflows
Experience with automation tools (Zapier, Make, or similar)
Comfortable with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude), LLMs, and prompt writing
Solid understanding of APIs and data flow
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional attention to detail – you catch what others miss
Able to take instructions and move fast
Innovation first mindset– with no patience for the old ways of working
Comfortable with ambiguity and learning new tools quickly
Takes ownership and doesn't wait for perfect information
Excited about AI tools and their potential
Clear communicator who can explain technical concepts simply

Responsibilities

Process Design & Optimization
Map current workflows (creative, marketing, PR) and identify improvement opportunities
Design automated processes that reduce manual work and increase efficiency
Create clear documentation and process diagrams
Monitor performance and continuously optimize
AI Implementation
Build and test prompts for content generation, research, and analysis
Configure automation tools (training provided on specific platforms)
Codes to pull from API’s and configures integrations between tools and systems
Writes and deploys code from Github to production
Troubleshoot issues and maintain system reliability
Quality & Metrics
Ability to interview stakeholders and capture requirements
Define success criteria for each automated workflow
Track performance metrics (speed, quality, cost-effectiveness)
Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions
Provide technical training and support to teams
