ECI is seeking a highly motivated AI & Automation Developer with 3–5 years of experience in building intelligent automation solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem to join our team at our Southfield, MI office. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the Power Platform, Azure AI services, and the ability to design, deploy, and maintain AI-driven business solutions, including the integration of Copilot AI agents. This role blends solution engineering, automation development, and AI innovation, helping the organization leverage modern Microsoft technologies to streamline processes, unlock insights, and deliver enterprise-grade automation.

  • Design, develop, and optimize automation solutions using Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Implement and integrate Azure AI Services (e.g., Document Intelligence, AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services) into business workflows.
  • Configure, customize, and extend Copilot AI agents to support business functions and enhance productivity.
  • Develop and maintain Azure Functions and Logic Apps to support scalable automation and system integration.
  • Deploy and manage both predefined and custom AI models, ensuring accuracy, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into AI-enabled automation solutions.
  • Apply best practices in governance, security, and monitoring for Power Platform and Azure AI deployments.
  • Stay current on emerging AI/automation technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for automation and AI solutions.
  • Ensure Data Governance and Compliance: Collaborate with IT and governance teams to ensure responsible AI and automation usage, adhering to organizational policies, data privacy standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and process owners, to identify opportunities for automation and AI integration.
  • Educate and Train Stakeholders: Stay current with evolving AI, Copilot, and automation technologies to meet new business requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field (preferred); equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in Microsoft cloud-based development and automation.
  • Experience working with Azure AI Services, including Document Intelligence, AI Foundry, and Azure OpenAI.
  • Proven expertise in Power Automate and Power Apps, with hands-on project delivery.
  • Strong skills in Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with stakeholders at all levels within the company.
  • Microsoft Certifications (e.g., Power Platform Developer Associate, Azure AI Engineer Associate, or related).
  • Experience in integrating automation solutions with enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Familiarity with modern AI frameworks and prompt engineering for business workflows.
