About The Position

The position involves the architecture of an AI/AR wearable system, specifically focusing on glasses. The role requires creating use cases for the wearable ecosystem by identifying technical requirements, designing data paths, and estimating performance. The candidate will design and implement the software stack and architecture, including detailed plans, and will identify AR technologies to propose software and hardware solutions that optimize power consumption and performance. Additionally, the role includes designing and developing the system and software architecture for the wearable, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. The candidate will evaluate and select appropriate software technologies, algorithms, and platforms for AI/AR systems, and communicate with ecosystem partners and vendors to collaborate on new features for product needs. Defining system specifications and requirements based on user needs and market trends is also a key responsibility, along with collaborating with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software teams, to integrate software components. Finally, the candidate will conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new projects and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • AR/AI wearable (glass) product MP experience
  • AR/AI industry work experience (>5 years)
  • Proven experience in software architecture design, preferably in AI/AR technology or consumer electronics
  • Strong understanding of software integration with hardware components
  • Knowledge of augmented reality frameworks, algorithms, and tools
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
