AI Application Architect Senior Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 day per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Ideal candidates will be able to report to one of our Pulse Point locations in Atlanta, GA, Hanover, MD, Mason, OH, Indianapolis, IN, Ashburn, VA, Norfolk, VA or New York, NY. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. The AI Application Architect Senior creates architectural solutions that articulate the business context, conceptual design, and component-level logical design. How you will make an impact: Contributes to enterprise-wide AI architecture strategy, defining the future state of AI platforms, patterns, and frameworks. Drives hands-on exploration through high-impact POCs/POTs, validating cutting-edge AI frameworks, LLM platforms, orchestration technologies, and scalable retrieval architectures. Contributes to enterprise AI architecture standards, reusable accelerators, and reference implementations to guide engineering adoption. Evaluates emerging AI tools and technologies for applicability and strategic value, providing recommendations for enterprise investment. Architects enterprise-scale RAG, vector indexing, distributed inference, and model-serving architectures. Aligns AI architecture decisions across cross-functional architecture groups (data, cloud, security, app dev). Mentors architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and hands-on technical exploration. Joins executive-level discussions on the future of AI-enabled systems, technical trajectories, and strategic platform choices. Ensures AI solutions adhere to enterprise standards, governance, risk, and compliance frameworks. Recommends new technologies based upon business value drivers and return on investment; drives new technologies towards implementation and exploitation. Establishes overall systems architecture vision and ensures specific components are appropriately designed and leveraged; contributes to the holistic vision of Enterprise Architecture. Defines architecture standards and anticipate areas where architecture standards may need to be developed that are in-line with customer, IT and industry standards. Directs the construction of architecture components (e.g., data architecture, application architecture, technical architecture).
