AI Analytics Lead Instructor

About The Position

This hybrid staff and faculty position will serve both the instructional division at the college (by preparing and delivering AI and Analytics courses) as well as being a critical catalyst for the college's AI initiatives through mentorship, tool development, and strategic planning. This position is a full-time assignment requiring on-campus presence. AI program support tasks (such as leading AI agent implementation across college workflows) will be under the direction of the college's Senior VP of Student Learning and Workforce Development. Instructional duties will be managed by the Department Head of AI and Information Technology and may include both face-to-face and online course sections in subjects such as introductory analytics, python programming, database concepts, intermediate artificial intelligence concepts, and decision-making using data analysis. Other courses and duties may be assigned as needs evolve.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML implementation.
  • Experience with Python, data analytics, and AI frameworks.
  • Some teaching experience (industry training acceptable).
  • Track record of successful project management in the workplace.
  • Master's degree in computer science, data science, AI, or related field.
  • OR Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with substantial industry experience using AI.
  • Demonstrate excellence in written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have general knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Responsibilities

  • Teach 5-6 courses annually from the AI/Analytics curriculum.
  • Develop and update course materials incorporating industry best practices.
  • Mentor students in AI projects and career pathways.
  • Lead AI agent implementation across college workflows, as well as assisting in the building of AI tools for academic support and administrative efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain institutional chatbots for student services.
