The AI Agentic Software Engineer will join a passionate, collaborative engineering team building Mercury Application Space, a production-scale, AI-powered platform utilized daily by Comcast employees to support millions of customer interactions each month. This platform integrates AI and large language models into real operational workflows, assisting customer service agents, retail associates, and field technicians in resolving customer needs more quickly, accurately, and confidently. The AI capabilities developed are in production, embedded in mission-critical systems, and designed to deliver measurable business and customer outcomes. Mercury Application Space is a multi-channel platform supporting chat and voice agents in call centers, front-line employees in retail stores, and technicians in the field. It is built with a .NET backend and React-based frontend, leveraging real-time eventing, AI-driven recommendations, and agentic task orchestration to guide users proactively. The team collaborates closely with product, design, and business partners, emphasizing ownership, trust, and pragmatic innovation, with a focus on reliable, explainable, and scalable AI in enterprise environments.
