About The Position

We're seeking a client-facing, relationship-driven AI Advisory Consultant to join our growing AI Advisory practice. This role sits at the intersection of business consulting and applied artificial intelligence-focused on helping clients adopt practical, day-to-day AI solutions that improve efficiency and reduce manual work. This is not a pure technical role or a sales position. You'll act as a bridge between business users and emerging AI tools-building trust with clients, understanding how they work, and embedding AI directly into their workflows. If you're energized by understanding how people actually do their jobs-and then finding ways to make those processes faster, smarter, and more efficient-this is a unique opportunity to shape how businesses adopt AI in real time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (highly preferred), IT, Business or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, advisory, training, or client-facing roles
  • Strong ability to evaluate workflows and identify efficiency opportunities
  • Experience presenting to executive-level audiences
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools
  • Working knowledge of AI platforms (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of empathy and adaptability
  • Excellent written communication skills with ability to create polished deliverables
  • Willingness to travel regionally across Alabama and the Southeast

Nice To Haves

  • CPA, CMA, or related credential
  • Experience in a CPA firm or professional services environment
  • Background in change management or technology adoption
  • Familiarity with AI governance and data security concepts
  • Experience creating training content or SOPs

Responsibilities

  • Lead group AI training sessions and platform overviews for client teams
  • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions to identify workflow inefficiencies and build AI solutions live
  • Teach foundational AI skills including prompt development, refinement, and tool navigation
  • Adapt communication style to meet users at varying levels of technical comfort
  • Build trust with stakeholders across all levels-from staff to executive leadership
  • Evaluate client processes across departments (AP, AR, operations, HR, reporting)
  • Identify and implement practical AI use cases that improve efficiency
  • Build real-time solutions such as data extraction, automation workflows, and reporting tools
  • Develop reusable prompts tailored to client-specific systems and terminology
  • Recommend best-fit tools within existing tech stacks
  • Create branded post-session guides with clear instructions and action steps
  • Build and maintain client-specific prompt libraries
  • Develop training materials, facilitator guides, and demo content
  • Support development of AI-driven advisory deliverables and insights
  • Participate in prospect meetings and AI demonstrations
  • Support creation of marketing materials and thought leadership content
  • Represent the AI Advisory practice in client-facing settings
  • Present to executives on AI strategy, use cases, and outcomes
  • Conduct live demonstrations showcasing real-time problem solving
  • Translate technical capabilities into clear business value and ROI
