About The Position

The AI Advisor at WWT is a senior, customer-facing industry and technical AI leader who plays a crucial role in driving our customers' AI adoption and successful deployments for our clients. This role aligns WWT AI products, solutions, and services with our customers' business objectives, guides them through their AI maturity journey, and ensures engagement and collaboration between WWT sales, engineering, and service teams. Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in AI, data analytics, machine learning, and HPC environments.
• Proven ability to advise C-suite and technical leaders on AI strategy, solutions, and implementation.
• Strong background in AI infrastructure, data pipelines, model lifecycle management, and cloud/hybrid architectures.
• Expertise in AI frameworks, ML Ops, RAG architectures, LLMs, and enterprise AI deployment models.
• Hands-on experience with AI solutions from NVIDIA, AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Dell, HPE, and other key partners.
• Strong collaboration and leadership skills for sales, solutions, and engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to translate complex AI concepts into business value.
• Must live on the East coast already, preferably in the Northeast region.
• Extensive experience working with Global Financial and/or Capital Markets clientele.
• Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
• Travel required 25-50% of the time

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement & Strategy:
• Serve as a trusted AI industry thought leader and strategic advisor to enterprise customers, helping define their AI vision, use cases, and implementation roadmaps.
• Lead AI maturity assessments and develop tailored AI adoption frameworks.
• Educate and influence C-level executives and key stakeholders on AI opportunities and challenges within your assigned industry vertical.
• As an AI Advisor at WWT, you will advocate for responsible AI practices, data governance, and AI security compliance. This commitment to ethical AI is a cornerstone of our approach, ensuring that our AI solutions are innovative but also safe and reliable.
• Guide customers in AI governance, compliance, and risk management to ensure responsible AI adoption.
• Solution Development & Pre-Sales Support:
• Work closely with WWT and partner sales, solutions, engineering, and solution teams to qualify AI opportunities and shape proposals.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to design high-performance computing (HPC) architectures and data factory solutions.
• Align AI solutions with industry best practices and emerging technologies from WWT’s strategic partners.
• Conduct proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and AI workshops to demonstrate feasibility and business value.
• Lead the development of AI reference architectures and solution blueprints to accelerate adoption across assigned industry verticals.
• Cross-Functional Leadership & Enablement:
• Serve as a trusted AI thought leader and strategic advisor to WWT and partner sales, engineering, solutions, and services teams to define their AI account strategy, vision, use cases, and implementation roadmaps.
• Act as a bridge between sales, engineering, and professional services teams to ensure successful AI opportunity development and solution delivery.
• Guide internal WWT and partner teams on AI best practices, trends, and competitive landscape.
• Support the development of AI go-to-market strategies and contribute to thought leadership through whitepapers, blogs, and industry presentations.
• Foster strong relationships with OEMs, cloud providers, and AI ISVs to enhance WWT’s AI offerings.
• Collaborate with WWT’s consulting teams to provide strategic AI assessments and roadmaps tailored to customer needs.
• Develop and deliver executive briefings, workshops, and technical deep dives on AI strategies and technologies.
