About The Position

An AI Activation & Delivery Manager orchestrates the full lifecycle of AI solutions—from initial concept, capability evaluation, and strategic activation to deployment and ongoing delivery. This hybrid role merges AI use case activation with agile delivery, acting as a critical link between business stakeholders and technical development teams. You will lead efforts to move beyond pilots into scalable, enterprise-wide solutions, while also educating and empowering leaders and product owners to adopt and champion AI in their domains. You will be at the forefront of deploying and scaling AI solutions that unlock new efficiencies, insights, and growth opportunities across our One Demand teams (Sales, Marketing, and Digital Commerce). The opportunities in Generative AI and Agentic AI are both hugely exciting and rewarding connecting and deriving breakthrough insights from Mars Wrigley’s rich data ecosystems, leveraging the rapidly evolving world of external AI capabilities to get closer to our customers and consumers than ever before, and unlocking efficiencies and automation across our end-to-end value chain. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in AI, data science, or analytics roles, preferably in CPG or retail.
  • 4+ years of experience delivering AI/ML projects and managing cross-functional teams within Sales & Marketing domains.
  • At least 1–2 project experiences involving Generative AI and/or Agentic AI, including deploying AI agents, building multi-agent workflows, and fine-tuning LLMs with RAG or domain-specific data.
  • Proven ability to scale AI solutions from pilots to production with measurable business impact.
  • Ability to evaluate emerging AI SaaS solutions for specific business use cases and provide clear, strategic recommendations on build vs. buy decisions, balancing speed, scalability, and long-term value.
  • Strong technical expertise in: Large Language Models (LLMs) and fine-tuning techniques; Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG); AI agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel); Cloud-native data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, Data Factory); Copilot integration for productivity and workflow enhancement; Unity Catalog for data governance, lineage, and access control in Databricks environments; Visualization and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Agile delivery certifications (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, Six Sigma) and change management (e.g., PROSCI) are a plus.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end execution of AI initiatives across MWNA, ensuring timely delivery, business alignment, and measurable impact.
  • Translate Mars Wrigley’s AI strategy into executable roadmaps and activate AI solutions that transform business operations.
  • Ensure identified AI opportunities are embedded across end-to-end Sales & Marketing business processes, driving automation, intelligence, and efficiency.
  • Monitor project performance, track KPIs, and report on the impact of AI initiatives to ensure continuous improvement and business value realization.
  • Provide guidance on technical architecture, work with engineering teams to align with roadmaps, and ensure solutions are robust and scalable.
  • Explore and deploy GenAI and AI agent technologies to automate complex workflows, enhance decision-making, and improve user experiences.
  • Continuously monitor the external AI landscape to identify emerging technologies—including multi-agent systems, autonomous reasoning, and tool-chaining—and assess their relevance for Mars Wrigley.
  • Design and deliver learning programs for business leaders, product owners, and teams to build AI fluency and confidence.
  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities and embed AI into core operations.
  • Ensure all initiatives comply with Mars’ Responsible AI Policy and data governance standards.
  • Foster a regional AI community of practice, sharing best practices, lessons learned, and success stories.
