About The Position

The AHB Sales Representative at Allstate is responsible for targeting and building relationships with licensed health insurance agents and brokers to sell Allstate's Small Group Health Insurance Products. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, mentoring agents, and providing ongoing support throughout the sales process. The position requires effective communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to travel within the assigned territory for sales meetings and seminars.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred).
  • 2 or more years of sales experience (Preferred).
  • Ability to obtain a Life, Accident & Health License in current resident state and in any other state within 30 days from start date.

Responsibilities

  • Target and build relationships with licensed health insurance agents/brokers via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Prospect, execute RFPs, and facilitate the full sales cycle.
  • Evaluate agent performance and continually recruit new agents.
  • Mentor agents in developing selling strategies to obtain new business and retain existing business.
  • Travel throughout assigned territory to relevant sales meetings and seminars (10%+).
  • Actively utilize the internal sales tracking system to validate and record sales calls, quotes, and recruited brokers.
  • Consult with agents throughout the sales process.
  • Provide timely communication to agents on product offerings, network changes, rate changes, and plan designs.
