Responsibilities

  • Collect soiled linen, retrieve carts, and maintain the send and receive rooms for the Automated Guided Vehicle System in designated areas of the Medical Center.
  • Deliver and return 350 Surgical case carts per month.
  • Manage the logistical transport of a total of 2,875 lbs. of soiled linen, trash, and Biohazardous waste from approximately 31 locations per shift.
  • Transport and prepare for recycling an average of 250 lbs. of cardboard per shift.
  • Sterilize approximately 1,800 lbs. of biohazardous waste per shift (if trained).
  • Prepare 8,400 lbs. of soiled linen for pick-up (if trained).
  • Assist with system operations, including troubleshooting vehicle maintenance and monitoring visual systems to ensure seamless traffic flow.
  • Resolve clinical partner requests for ADHOC carts and OR packs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of Supply Chain/Logistics experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting.
