About The Position

The position involves the transportation of products in a safe and efficient manner. The driver is responsible for ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that the vehicle is properly maintained.

Requirements

• Proper CDL for truck being driven
• Proper endorsements for products being transported
• Medical Card
• Physical capability to move heavy materials

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport products
• Carry out a pre-trip and post-trip inspection and document findings in a DVIR each time the truck is driven
• Report and fix any items on the truck needing repair before driving on any public roadway
• Maintain and take pride in equipment being driven to carry out job functions
• Obey all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Proper use of placards and product labelling when needed
