About The Position

The position involves the professional and efficient operation of custom application equipment to meet the needs of growers who are paying for the service. The role requires a strong focus on operational skills related to heavy equipment and ensuring quality work is completed on customer fields without causing damage to equipment or property. Proper care and maintenance of the equipment entrusted to the employee is essential. The position also requires the ability to read plat maps and work orders accurately to locate fields for application, as well as effective communication skills with managers, coworkers, and customers in the area where work is to be done. Additionally, the ability to run monitor software in application equipment is necessary.

Requirements

• Custom applicator license for handling restricted use pesticides.
• HazMat endorsement on driver’s license if handling such chemicals.
• Ability to work seasonal hours that require overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with operational skills involving hydraulics and air brakes.
• Familiarity with software and GPS mapping systems related to the equipment.
• Ability to diagnose basic issues with machinery and/or software.
