About The Position

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT: Professionally and efficiently operate custom application equipment to service grower needs who are paying for the service.

Requirements

• Custom applicator license for handling restricted use pesticides
• HazMat endorsement on driver’s license if handling such chemicals
• Ability to work seasonal hours that require overtime to accomplish work goals

Responsibilities

• Operational skills related to heavy equipment
• Professional and quality work completed on customer fields without damage to equipment or property
• Proper care and maintenance of equipment entrusted to the employee
• Ability to correctly read plat maps and work orders to locate fields for application
• Communication skills with managers, coworkers at the location and customers in the area where work is to be done
• Ability to run monitor software in application equipment
