About The Position
PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT: Professionally and efficiently operate custom application equipment to service grower needs who are paying for the service.
Requirements
- Custom applicator license for handling restricted use pesticides
- HazMat endorsement on driver’s license if handling such chemicals
- Ability to work seasonal hours that require overtime to accomplish work goals
Responsibilities
- Operational skills related to heavy equipment
- Professional and quality work completed on customer fields without damage to equipment or property
- Proper care and maintenance of equipment entrusted to the employee
- Ability to correctly read plat maps and work orders to locate fields for application
- Communication skills with managers, coworkers at the location and customers in the area where work is to be done
- Ability to run monitor software in application equipment
