About The Position
The position requires an educator who is EL Authorized and committed to ongoing professional collaboration. The role involves the development of small learning communities and implementing standards-based instruction and curriculum. The educator will utilize research-based instructional strategies and conduct multiple formative assessments. Familiarity with basic computer programs such as PowerSchools, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Excel is essential. The candidate should have experience working with at-risk youth, particularly in a Title I school setting, and with special needs populations. A focus on multicultural education and secondary literacy implementation is also required.
