About The Position

You will provide general service, routine overhaul and emergency maintenance on all BEF plant and farm facilities and equipment. You will have a DOT certification. You will report directly to the Farm Shop Manager This is a full-time unionized position, located in Waseca, Minnesota. Requirements

Be able to lift 50lbs, and frequently bend, lift, twist, turn, climb, squat, craw, and reach.
Have a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a health card (DOT).
Have basic hand tools to repair and maintain equipment.
Must have tools to, repair, and maintain plant or field equipment, both eclectically and mechanically.
Enjoy working in a team environment and have initiative in improving company operations, food safety and Plant Safety.
2+ years of experience with equipment in an Agriculture department.
5 years of hands-on experience repairing and maintaining equipment.
2 Year diesel technician certification, with expertise in the following areas: Electrical systems (including 12V DC circuits), pneumatics, hydraulics, power transmission, and proficient skills in welding and cutting.
DOT certification

Responsibilities

Perform other tasks and assume additional responsibilities assigned by the Farm Shop Manager.
