Here at Lakeside Foods, our field maintenance team is the backbone of our field operations, ensuring equipment runs optimally. Field maintenance mechanics/technicians are respected team members, performing preventative maintenance, adjustments and repairs on our harvesting equipment such as pea harvesters and sweet corn harvesters. Requirements

• Prior experience with preventative maintenance, machine adjustments, and harvesting procedures is preferred.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Positive attitude.
• Strong work ethic.
• Safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the efficient operation of the pea harvesters, sweet corn harvesters, and any other equipment used in our planting and harvesting operations.
• Serve as a supervisor/mechanic for field operations.
• Train other field employees in the safe, proper and efficient operation of field equipment.
• Assist in the planting and harvesting of crops.
• Overhaul and repair of machinery and vehicles used in field operations during the Preventative Maintenance Season.
