Operations Supervisors are also responsible for promoting a positive work environment and supporting location goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in agricultural operations or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Experience in liquid and dry custom application preferred (depending on location)
  • You lead by example and prioritize safety
  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • You can handle multiple assignments independently with minimal supervision
  • You are adaptable to a rapidly changing work environment

  • You enjoy diverse work and are versatile and flexible

Responsibilities

  • Supervise facility operations and ensure compliance with Wilbur-Ellis safety and regulatory procedures
  • Facilitate effective communication with the Sales team and promote a safety culture aligned with corporate objectives
  • Provide daily direction to direct reports and assist with training and development
  • Coordinate audits, compliance activities, and equipment maintenance with the Location Operations Manager
  • Conduct annual performance reviews and address employee performance issues promptly
