The Agriculture Sales Representative is a professional sales position focused on selling Agricultural equipment through diverse sales strategies and connecting with prospective customers within your assigned territory. Successful Sales Representatives build long-lasting relationships, assist customers with equipment management, and act as trusted resources when resolving product issues.

Requirements

  • Prior experience with heavy agricultural equipment required
  • Proven sales success, achieving or exceeding goals
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Independent work ethic, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams to achieve individual and branch goals
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Clear and concise communication
  • Strong sense of urgency with effective time and territory management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and engage prospective customers, offering assistance or direction to anyone who could benefit from our products or services
  • Assist customers with questions and listen carefully to their needs
  • Explain product performance, applications, and benefits to prospective customers
  • Describe all equipment options available for customer purchases.
  • Interact with customers at their place of business
  • Build strong rapport and lifelong relationships with customers
  • Effectively overcome objections, close sales, and follow all steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards
  • Actively use and update the Client Relationship Management System (CRM).
