About The Position

The Agricultural Regional Territory Manager for the Western U.S. is responsible for creating demand for Wilbur Ellis Proprietary Products, primarily focusing on the Value Added segment of the business. This role involves selling diverse products including Nutrition, Adjuvants, Specialty Actives, Organic, and Pro Markets products to retailers and distributors. The position requires managing a sales portfolio, executing a business plan, and being the main contact for Channel Partners customers regarding all Branded Products. The role includes sales, technical support, forecasting, pricing, and sales planning activities.

Requirements

  • 5 years of actual sales experience preferred.
  • Experience selling Value Added Nutrition products is a plus.
  • Strong Agronomic background is a must.
  • Experience scouting crops and making recommendations is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of pricing principles and margin generation.
  • Strong Nutrition background with a solid understanding of the Fertilizer business.
  • Understanding of research trials and the value of data.

  • Skill in providing sales coaching and motivation.
  • High degree of leadership ability including building relationships with cross functional team members.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Generate demand for Wilbur Ellis Branded products with Regional Distributors, Independent Retailers, Applicators, and Seed Dealers.
  • Manage an established book of business with significant opportunity for growth.
  • Focus on the RZT (Red Zone Technologies) exclusive Private Label Brand.
  • Provide pricing guidance to Channel Partners customers on Branded Products.
  • Enhance ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Ensure processes are managed for maximum efficiency (Pricing, Forecasting, and Business Planning).
  • Perform and assist with Sales Team, Dealer, and Grower product meetings.
  • Communicate product introductions, updates, and support materials to all levels of Wilbur-Ellis within the assigned geography.
