Become One Of Our Valued Mechanics: Here at Lakeside Foods, our field maintenance team is the backbone of our field operations, ensuring equipment runs optimally. Field maintenance mechanics/technicians are respected team members, performing preventative maintenance, adjustments and repairs on our harvesting equipment such as pea harvesters and sweet corn harvesters. If you are a creative problem-solver who likes to work outdoors during the summer months and indoors in the winter months, we want to talk with you.

Requirements

Should have three to five years experience as a Field Mechanic or equivalent experience.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Positive attitude
Strong work ethic
Safety mindset

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of the operation, preventative maintenance and repair of field equipment would be useful

Responsibilities

Responsible for the efficient operation of pea & corn harvesters and other equipment used in our planting and harvesting operations.
Serve as a Mechanic for field operations.
Train other seasonal field employees in the safe, proper, and efficient operation of field equipment
Overhaul & repair machinery and vehicles used in field operations
Maintain Lakeside company vehicles

Benefits

Mechanic Field $21.00 - $27.54 per hour based on education and experience.
Mechanic Senior $24.01 - $31.48
Master Mechanic $27.39 - 35.98
Work 4 days a week November-May, 5 days a week June-October.
