Responsibilities

• Load and unload crops or containers of materials manually or using machinery.
• Mix specified materials or chemicals and dump them into machinery.
• Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions using hand sprayers.
• Observe machinery operation to detect malfunctions.
• Manipulate controls to set and adjust machinery mechanisms.
• Operate equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors and combines.
• Maintain farm machinery and report malfunctions to supervisors.
• Drive trucks to haul crops and supplies.
• Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest, and store crops.
