About The Position

Part of a team delivering high quality technology solutions for AEP Energy’s sales business. AEP Energy is a small affiliate of AEP. Design, modify, develop, implement, and troubleshoot Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and related applications. Works within an Agile methodology/framework-based team. Collaborates heavily with Project Management, Business Analyst and Infrastructure Job Families. Based on education and experience requirements, this opportunity will be filled within a range between Agile Solution Engineer Associate through Agile Solution Engineer Senior. What You'll Do: This developer will participate in the configuration, coding, testing, and delivery of software solutions (specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and related applications). The developer must function as a member of a team and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) using our team’s design standards and best practices. Utilize C# and JavaScript, Azure integration and Power Platform to meet business objectives Working with our Business Analyst and Technical Lead, align the client’s goals, needs, and objectives to the solutions. Communicate issues and status in a clear, timely manner. Interpret specifications and build solutions to those specifications. Participate in code reviews and the testing process through test review and analysis and test witnessing. Generate or assist with the generation of support documentation. Evaluate and propose process improvements. Build, maintain, and share a high level of knowledge about the company's software/hardware products. Take direction from the Technical Lead or Manager and work with team members and users. You will have a beginner to intermediate level of proficiency in skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.
  • No additional experience is required for the Associate level
  • 2 years of relevant work experience is required for the Agile Solution Engineer level
  • 5 years of relevant work experience is required for the Senior level
  • An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to work 40 hours per week with core hours between 9 am and 4 pm ET Monday -Friday.
  • Occasional deployment duties on Friday or other evenings starting at 7 pm ET and normally lasting 2-3 hours.
