About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager III to lead innovative IT and technology initiatives in a collaborative and agile environment. This hybrid role based in Richmond, VA, offers the opportunity to drive impactful projects while fostering teamwork and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 5+ years in project management.
• PMP, Scrum, and Agile certifications preferred.
• Expertise in Agile frameworks, project planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation.
• Familiarity with Agile tools like Jira or Version 1 preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to get a DOD security clearance is needed.
• Ability to work onsite in Richmond, VA, three days per week.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SAFe methodology
• Experience with Kanban methodology
• Experience in IT project management for 5+ years

Responsibilities

• Guide architecture teams using SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies for seamless work intake and execution.
• Manage prioritization, resource allocation, and capacity planning to achieve project goals.
• Proactively identify and address risks, impediments, and issues while keeping leadership informed.
• Lead agile ceremonies, including PI planning, sprints, and daily scrums, ensuring effective collaboration.
• Deliver transparent updates on project progress and health to diverse stakeholders.
• Oversee innovation projects from inception to completion, aligning with organizational objectives.
• Serve as a servant leader, supporting teams in backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and timely execution.
