About The Position

Alamo Drafthouse is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of technology and cross-functional initiatives through strong agile practices, clear communication, and consistent execution. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Program Management and operates as a hands-on partner to delivery teams, ensuring work is well-planned, visible, and moving forward smoothly. The Project Coordinator brings practical experience working within agile or agile-inspired environments and is comfortable facilitating team-level ceremonies, tracking commitments, and helping teams stay focused on delivering meaningful outcomes. This role plays a key part in surfacing risks, dependencies, and progress while helping teams continuously improve how they work. While not all initiatives follow a rigid agile framework, Alamo embraces agile principles, delivering work in smaller, iterative increments, learning quickly, and adapting as conditions change. The Project Coordinator helps teams apply those principles in a way that fits Alamo’s culture and operating reality.

  • Experience supporting delivery teams by organizing work, tracking progress, and helping surface risks, blockers, and dependencies
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to synthesize team-level details into clear, concise updates for program leadership
  • Comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams, including software, operations, and business partners
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through
  • Experience using modern project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Jira, Asana, or similar)

  • Partner with the Sr. Director of Program Management to ensure consistency in delivery practices across teams while allowing flexibility based on project needs
  • Help teams continuously improve by identifying patterns, friction points, and opportunities to refine how work gets done
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, timelines, and status updates using approved tools and templates
  • Support both agile and non-traditional projects by applying a lightweight structure without introducing unnecessary process or overhead
