We’re building a more open world. Join us. Agile Coach Introduction to team Expedia B2B is the Business-to-Business arm of Expedia Group. We bring Expedia Group’s innovative technology and distribution solutions to partners across the world. These businesses include global financial institutions, corporate managed travel, offline travel agents, global travel suppliers (like major airlines) and many more. The Agile Coach role sits within the Planning and Delivery group in the B2B Technology division. This group drives organizational improvements and effective delivery across the entire B2B organization. You will join a global team of Agile Coaches, bringing your eagerness to learn, share, and apply the latest in agile practices. Your work will directly empower our teams and partners in our mission to power global travel for everyone, everywhere. In this role, you will:

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication, organization, and team building skills; articulate and able to steer a meeting with presence
  • A passion for agile values and effective teamwork
  • An understanding of, and appreciation for, the software development life cycle
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical issues at a high level
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • 1-2+ years of working in an agile environment
  • Highly self-motivated and motivating to others
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a creative and fast-paced environment
  • Committed to the iterative delivery of high-quality work
  • Excited to share knowledge and learn new things

Responsibilities

  • Work with development teams using agile frameworks to deliver software iteratively and effectively
  • Identify and remove impediments
  • Coach and mentor agile team members on agile standards and principles
  • Help facilitate healthy product and tech interactions as we work to clarify the vision
  • Facilitate agile events and group workshops
  • Maintain and report against relevant metrics
  • Champion clear internal and external communication
  • Engage with others to find, and act upon, opportunities for improvement across delivery processes
  • Collaborate with, and influence, leadership
