About The Position
Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking an Aggregates Management Trainee based in Pavilion, NY. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $65,250.00 to $89,722.50 annually. The Aggregates Management Trainee will gain hands-on experience in operations across the region while learning all aspects of the aggregates business. The role is designed to provide exposure, training, and practical experience in various areas including production, sales, maintenance, supervision, quality control, and logistics. The successful candidate will participate in a structured development program that includes critical experiences and projects essential to the business. As part of the program, the trainee will actively engage in all assigned development activities, applying their knowledge collaboratively on various team projects related to training and development. They will support the aggregate and asphalt division in achieving production goals by partnering with experienced professionals and managers across different departments such as safety, operations, human resources, environment, maintenance, and quality control. The trainee will work within quarry operations and production, participate in daily and weekly production and maintenance meetings, and learn basic supervisory skills by working alongside experienced supervisors. Additionally, they will be responsible for reporting and tracking key performance indicators, which are crucial for the success of the operations.
