In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and ensuring safety on site, understanding and complying with all MSHA regulations, and working closely with all team members, including the safety department, to ensure a safe workplace. You will ensure compliance with all environmental needs and requirements while building and maintaining a first-class culture consistent with company values. Your responsibilities will include preparing site and processing budgets to ensure optimum efficiency and cost-effectiveness, developing, directing, and overseeing all material processing operations, and understanding all site-related equipment needs to optimize fleet performance and utilization. You will work with the land resource department to develop and manage short-term and long-term site operations plans, execute established mine plans efficiently and accurately, and direct and support site forepersons on planning and implementation of production and operations plans. Additionally, you will provide continuous training, coaching, mentoring, and development of site employees, coordinate and manage completion of necessary site work, and manage subcontractors when performing work on site. You will also be responsible for scoping, budgeting, managing, and completing all approved capital improvement projects within budget, reviewing and approving invoices, and preparing monthly production inventory bookings in accordance with budget and monthly inventory reconciliation to ensure accuracy. Completing special projects as assigned and ensuring a professional appearance and aesthetics of the site will also be part of your role.
