THE ROLE You own the requirements, roadmap, stakeholder management, and hands-on build work for agentic AI products and automations across Avenue Z. This is a product role. But it is not a passive product manager role. You need strong product instincts. You also need to build. You will work across PR, SEO / AIO, content, paid media, strategy, analytics, and client-facing teams to identify workflow problems, interview stakeholders and customers, capture requirements, prioritize opportunities, and ship working systems. This person must be comfortable going from messy process to deployed workflow quickly. That means translating business needs into automations, agents, prompts, approvals, reporting logic, and operating procedures. You are not here to write decks about AI. You are here to make it work. WHAT YOU'LL OWN Product Discovery & Requirements Interview internal stakeholders across service lines to understand goals, bottlenecks, failure points, and repetitive work. Interview customers when needed to understand workflow pain points, reporting needs, delivery gaps, and product opportunities. Capture requirements clearly and translate them into technical specifications, workflow logic, and execution plans. Maintain a prioritized backlog of automation and AI product opportunities tied to business value and operational impact. Roadmap & Prioritization Define which agentic AI workflows, internal tools, and automation products should be built first. Balance speed, business value, technical feasibility, and service-line demand. Drive roadmap decisions with clear rationale, measurable success criteria, and tight execution loops. Hands-On Automation Building Personally build automations, workflows, and agents using n8n, Zapier, OpenClaw, Glean, Make, Lovable, and Replit. Prototype quickly, test with real users, and move working systems into production use. Design prompts, workflow steps, conditionals, approvals, notifications, structured outputs, and exception handling. Stay close to the details of the build so product decisions are grounded in reality, not theory. Cross-Functional Delivery Work directly with marketing, AI / automation, analytics, and leadership to move products from idea to launch. Translate between technical and non-technical teams. Coordinate dependencies without creating unnecessary process overhead. Support rollout, training, adoption, and iteration after launch. Marketing Service-Line Integration Build a deep understanding of how Avenue Z service lines operate in practice. Identify where AI and automation can improve campaign execution, research, reporting, content operations, QA, client delivery, and internal coordination. Ensure what gets built actually fits how teams sell, deliver, and scale work. Measurement & Reporting Define success metrics for each product and workflow: usage, time saved, quality improvement, adoption, reliability, and business impact. Report progress, blockers, and product outcomes to the CTO and leadership. Use data and user feedback to improve what ships over time. WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT Not a passive project coordinator. Not a pure strategist with no build capability. Not a traditional marketing ops admin role. Not a software-only engineering role disconnected from users. Not someone who waits for perfect requirements before shipping. WHO YOU ARE
