About The Position

As an Agent Trainee, you’ll work directly with customers to provide tailored insurance solutions while learning advanced sales techniques in a supportive, high-performance environment. You’ll focus on generating new business, building lasting client relationships, and helping individuals, families, and businesses secure the coverage they need.

Requirements

• Prior experience in sales, insurance, or customer service preferred
• Active Property & Casualty License (or willingness to obtain)
• Life & Health License (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset
• Professional, organized, and dependable

Responsibilities

• Proactively generate leads through prospecting, referrals, and community engagement
• Conduct personalized insurance consultations to understand and address client needs
• Present and sell a full suite of insurance products, including Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial policies
• Foster and maintain strong client relationships through ongoing communication and support
• Track sales activity, manage follow-ups, and process renewals using CRM systems
• Ensure compliance with Farmers Insurance standards and Michigan Department of Insurance regulations
