About The Position

From the centralized surveillance center, agents help prevent losses in our network of more than 1,795 stores across Canada, as well as two distribution centers and five service centers. This role helps ensure the safety of property and people by responding to emergency calls, providing immediate support to operations and customers (store employees, distribution center employees, and service center employees) by contacting the appropriate emergency services depending on the situation.

Requirements

• High school diploma (required)
• BSP permit (Required)
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of the Criminal Code and applicable laws
• Autonomous, able to manage priorities and analytical
• Proficiency in office automation tools (Suite Office, Outlook, etc.)
• Knowledge of video surveillance systems
• Ability to work under pressure or in urgent situations
• Bilingualism required (Advanced French and English) both spoken and written, as the person will be required to work and communicate regularly in English while performing the tasks outlined above. Specifically, the role requires collaboration with global teams.

Nice To Haves

• Be a student or have obtained a diploma in a field related to the job (major asset)
• Experience in loss prevention (major asset)
• Experience as a store employee at Alimentation Couche-Tard (major asset)
• Experience in a call center, remote monitoring center or emergency call management center (asset)

Responsibilities

• Prepare corporate security or loss prevention incident files (30%)
• Respond to urgent and non-urgent calls (25%)
• Carry out video surveillance for our service centers, distribution center and sites (15%)
• Participate in the development of corporate security or loss prevention plans or programs (10%)
• Work closely with police forces, government agencies and partners (10%)
• Conduct preventive foot patrols at our distribution center and respond to incidents (5%)
• All other related tasks, including administrative duties (5%)
