About The Position

The Agency Manager is responsible for providing guidance and direction to Staff Managers and associates of the Agency. This role ensures the effective execution of the "Agency System" to achieve Agency objectives. The Agency Manager delivers business results and provides functional and technical expertise on Agency sales processes while serving as the chief marketing officer within the market. Key responsibilities include driving Financial Representative retention, sales growth, client retention, and thorough training and implementation of the W&S Sales process, brand awareness, networking, and recruiting strategies and activities.

Requirements

  • Possesses necessary experience and track record as a sales and marketing professional within the financial services industry.
  • Experience in selling, coaching, quantifying, or providing creative solutions to sales, prospecting, and recruiting scenarios (10+ years of relevant experience preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Possess knowledge of the W&S Sales Process and demonstrate skills to ensure knowledge and skill transfer to Agency associates.
  • Ensure the "Agency System" is executed effectively within the Agency to produce business results and meet Agency scorecard objectives by providing guidance and coaching to associates.
  • Train, coach, and develop Staff Managers and Financial Representatives by creating and implementing a Business Plan to produce profitable results in sales.
  • Act as advisor to Agency associates by delivering strategy and direction for Agency and translating that strategy into production goals.
  • Administer recruitment and selection process to acquire organizational talent while adhering to the desired candidate profile.
  • Work with Staff Managers and Financial Representatives to schedule appointments to network and prospect with clients and community groups.
  • Promote local incentive programs and sales campaigns to motivate and deliver production results at or above scorecard objectives.
  • Model and ensure ethical behavior and monitor adherence to organizational and professional standards.
  • Provide regular status updates and reports to senior management detailing sales production results, recruitment activity, agent retention, and new client acquisition.
  • Develop a strong working relationship with Home Office personnel at all levels.
  • Keep current on trends in the industry and local markets through continued education and participation in local organizations.
  • Provide guidance and instruction to Agency Operations staff regarding day-to-day operational needs.
