About The Position

Carmichael Lynch is seeking an agency communications manager to help enhance the agency's reputation and share its success stories. The role involves developing a marketing and communications strategy, managing media relations, and creating engaging narratives that reflect the agency's values. The communications manager will work closely with the Managing Partners and various teams to ensure that the agency's work is effectively communicated to the public and media.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing, creative and/or communications agency experience.
  • Established public relations, communications and collaboration skills.
  • Appreciation of great creative and visual storytelling ability.
  • Proficient at integrated marketing merchandising.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with media and trade organizations.
  • Deadline-driven with the ability to work on reporters/news deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of social media channels and engaging content.
  • Passion for the advertising and public relations industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture relationships with media on behalf of the agency.
  • Work with creative and account teams to create newsworthy angles for media.
  • Develop multi-media news releases and gather visual assets for announcements.
  • Find speaking opportunities and secure media interviews for senior leaders.
  • Create a social channel strategy and plan across all agency social channels.
  • Manage content updates for the agency's websites.
  • Collaborate with HR and DEI lead to ensure inclusive messaging.
  • Develop client case stories and an award-entry strategy.
  • Collaborate with the new business team to support marketing communications.
