About The Position
The Billing Specialist is responsible for processing claims and authorizations for reimbursement. In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to processing accurate and timely electronic claim submissions to DHS and various insurance companies, researching and resolving unpaid claims to maximize reimbursements, reviewing and processing client authorizations, processing and sending out monthly client invoices, and assisting payroll staff with timely and accurate processing of biweekly timecards, and providing professional customer service to internal and external clients/staff via email and phone.
