About The Position
Moon Valley Nurseries is seeking a Yard Crew Member / Laborer to perform manual labor for stocking and fulfilling customer orders at the nursery's store. This role offers on-the-job training, providing an opportunity to acquire new skills, knowledge, and experience. No prior experience is required, and the company is committed to training and offering a career path.
Requirements
- Ability to perform manual labor.
- Ability to follow specific instructions and safety protocols.
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience with operating power tools, hand tools, and other equipment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor to assist in the upkeep, stocking, and fulfillment of customer orders in the landscape nursery.
- Haul and mix topsoil, fertilizer, peat moss, and other materials to condition soil, using hand tools.
- Dig, rake, and screen soil to fill buckets and boxes for planting.
- Demonstrate availability to work any day of the week.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
