About The Position

Airgas is hiring for a Plant Operator - Loader (1st Shift) in Belton, TX! Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm The Production Associate (Cylinder Loader) is responsible for the safe and compliant handling of high-pressure and liquid gas cylinders. This includes loading and unloading cylinders onto and off trucks, ensuring all actions meet federal, state, and local regulations as well as Airgas safety procedures. Sort compressed gas cylinders to ensure proper segregation. Deliver empty pallets of cylinders to the plant for filling. Load and unload delivery trucks.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a valid forklift operator’s license
• Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship
• Ability to regularly lift up to 60 pounds, and occasionally move up to 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment
• Must be able to read and comprehend all written documents and instructions

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of forklift experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
