Requirements

  • 2+ years mechanic experience working on farm and agricultural equipment or similar. Experience with large ag equipment highly preferred. Must have a valid driver's license with ability to be insured on company policy to operate a field service truck.
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience. Technical or vocational degree in mechanical field strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Self-motivated.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with large ag equipment highly preferred.
  • Technical or vocational degree in mechanical field strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Pre-deliver, inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair farm and agricultural equipment.
  • Order parts and prepare repair estimates.
  • Prepare accurate inspection and service reports and maintain other records as required.
  • Complete jobs and repair estimates.
  • Keep work areas clean and orderly.
  • Work in a safe manner.
  • Comply with company policies and government regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
