About The Position

The Agriculture Equipment Sales Specialist is a key role focused on expanding and managing the customer base for Deutz-Fahr/Kubota tractors and agricultural implements. This position is responsible for driving sales, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction through effective communication, product knowledge, and problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Must have agricultural sales experience with equipment sales preferred.
  • Strong time management abilities.
  • Clear and concise written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and Sales: Identify new sales prospects and assess how Deutz-Fahr/Kubota’s products can meet their needs.
  • Presentations: Showcase the benefits of Deutz-Fahr products to potential customers, highlighting their features and advantages.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the full line of products, including their features, benefits, and updates.
  • Market Awareness: Monitor and analyze competitive products and activities within the territory. Stay up to date with market trends and communicate relevant information to management.
  • Financing Options: Keep current with available financing options and assist customers in understanding these options.
  • Data Management: Document customer interactions and new contracts accurately. Maintain comprehensive records of sales activities.
  • Customer Relations: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
  • Issue Resolution: Work to resolve technical and customer issues efficiently, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Industry Engagement: Represent the company at industry events, exhibits, and demonstrations.
  • Product Monitoring: Keep track of new product developments from both Deutz-Fahr and competitors, providing feedback to management as necessary.
  • Territory Management: Report any significant changes in the territory that could impact the company’s success.
  • Order Fulfillment: Ensure that equipment is delivered as ordered and in a timely manner.
  • Credit Management: Collaborate with the Credit Manager to resolve any credit or payment issues effectively.
