About The Position

The Afterschool Enrichment Leader at Harloe Elementary School is responsible for planning, supervising, and implementing childcare programs in accordance with guidelines from the California Department of Education's Expanded Learning Opportunities Programs. This role involves supervising up to 20 children independently, providing quality care and supervision, and ensuring a safe environment for all children to thrive. The position requires guiding behaviors using positive methods, carrying out activities and lesson plans, and ensuring the program meets Healthy Eating and Physical Activity (HEPA) standards. Additional responsibilities include setting up and cleaning the program area, providing exceptional customer service, and participating in in-service trainings. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess 48 college units OR an Associate’s Degree OR complete district paraeducator exam.
• 1 year of experience working in a childcare setting.
• Ability to obtain Criminal Record Clearance.
• Negative TB test required prior to first day of employment.
