Afternoon Nanny for a Family near Dunwoody
About The Position
The family is seeking a warm, proactive, and engaging nanny to support their children and household during the afternoons and evenings. Responsibilities include afternoon daycare pickup from KLA of Chamblee, preparing simple and nutritious meals for the children (with interest in expanding to fresh foods through light weekly meal planning and prep), family laundry, light housekeeping, and assisting with evening routines such as dinner, bath time, bedtime prep, and preparing for the next morning. The nanny may use the family car for pickups when a parent is home; otherwise, their own vehicle will be used. The ideal candidate is bubbly, intuitive, and self\-directedâsomeone who naturally sees what needs to be done and genuinely loves working with children. A background in education or child development and strong knowledge of developmental milestones is preferred. Strong swimming skills are required due to a home pool, and the candidate must be physically able to manage stairs. This role is best suited for someone flexible, comfortable working alongside a parent in the evenings, and eager to build a meaningful, long\-term relationship with the family.
