Hord Farms is a diversified farming operation in North-Central Ohio currently farming 8,685 acres of corn, beans, wheat, and barley, in addition to raising pigs and cattle. Our Hord Elevator division is seeking to add a full-time feed mill operator to our afternoon-shift team.

Operate corn roller mills, ensuring the proper setting and testing for accuracy
Oversee the computer operation of the feed mill on the afternoon shift, following all procedures to properly sequence orders to be mixed
Keep ingredients available for feed production, including restocking of bagged and toted products
Unload bulk ingredients through our elevator dump system
Load tractor/trailers for delivery
Assist with preventative maintenance on all equipment per provided schedules
Assist in housekeeping duties to ensure the mill remains clean

Ambition and the drive for excellence
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Experience driving pickup trucks, forklifts, tractors, and other basic machinery
Experience with equipment repair and maintenance
Basic knowledge of Excel and e-mail
Self-motivation and ability to remain productive when unsupervised
Ability to repeatedly lift up to 55 lbs. and climb in excess of 150 ft. and work in all types of weather
No daily exposure to non-Hord pigs
