We provide one-on-one care that helps seniors and adults remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. We’re currently hiring caregivers for afternoon and mid-day shifts in the Roxborough area. 🕒 Position Details We’re looking for compassionate, reliable caregivers who enjoy staying active and building meaningful connections. 📅 Schedule Weekday/Weekend availability preferred Afternoon shifts ⏰ Typical Shifts (could vary): 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM Most shifts are mid-day to afternoon, perfect for caregivers who prefer daytime hours. As a private-duty agency, hours are not guaranteed. What You’ll Be Doing Every day looks a little different, but may include: Providing companionship and emotional support Assisting a client who has experienced a stroke Driving clients to appointments or social events Going for walks (bonus points if you love dogs) Light housekeeping and tidying up Supporting safety, comfort, and independence at home 💰 Pay & Benefits $19–$22/hour (non-exempt, overtime eligible) Paid Time Off / Sick Pay 401(k) program Mileage reimbursement Training and advancement opportunities ✅ Requirements 1+ year caregiving experience (facility or in-home) 18+ years old; High School Diploma or GED Eligible to work in the U.S. Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance Strong communication skills and attention to detail Ability to pass background & CAPS checks 3 professional references Negative TB test within 30 days of hire Why Assisting Hands?
