About The Position

As an Aftermarket Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in driving growth across our Aftermarket portfolio in North America, including service contracts, accessories, consumables, upgrades, and training products. You will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, ensuring exceptional service, and achieving sales targets through accurate forecasting, effective communication, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years in a related role, ideally in sales or customer support within scientific instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of an ERP/CRM system, preferably Salesforce; SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal) skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to interpret data and make judgments for optimal outcomes.
  • Fluency in English required; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of service contracts, consumables, training, upgrades, and accessories to exceed targets within the assigned territory.
  • Cultivate and expand customer relationships to increase spend across Malvern Panalytical products and improve overall customer loyalty (NPS).
  • Engage customers through phone, email, virtual tools, and occasional on-site visits to key accounts.
  • Articulate the value of company products and upsell.
  • Work with account managers, customer support leaders, and application specialists to identify opportunities and improve performance in assigned territory.
  • Quote products and services following established processes and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of marketing plans and initiatives that drive growth and profitability.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of orders and sales results, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Assist with standardizing sales procedures to improve efficiency in service contract sales.
  • Provide feedback on customer concerns and ensure timely resolution to maximize satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Drive growth in warranty conversions, SLA renewals, and overall aftermarket contribution.
