About The Position

Responsible for achieving assigned sales, profitability, and other company objectives by developing, maintaining, and expanding our relationships with assigned channel partners and direct accounts. This position will represent the CI, Media, Parts, and Services Products and will report directly to the Division Sales Heads. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned. Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts. Responsible for quota achievement in Ink, Media, Parts, and Services in the assigned region. Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet performance objectives and expectations. Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates regional needs on an ongoing basis. Establishes and fosters excellent communication with both internally and externally stakeholders Ensures compliance with partner agreements and other policy expectations Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners and accounts. Provide timely and accurate reporting of sales activity and forecasts as required Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing and new and existing products. Provide trade show support before, during, and after the assigned shows. Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management. Up to 50% travel, including weekends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university and eight plus (8+) years of relevant work experience, such as a comprehensive sales knowledge of flatbed and wide format digital Inkjet markets for solvent, UV Curable, Dye Sublimation printing, as well as roll and flatbed cutters.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Proficient in Company-provided hardware and software.
  • The employee is regularly required to sit and talk, or hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • The vision requirements include close vision.
