About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Aftermarket Sales Manager to lead and grow our aftermarket sales activities across the United States. This role is responsible for driving sales of spare parts, repair services, and retrofit solutions for hydraulic cylinders, ensuring customer satisfaction, and expanding long-term service contracts and customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in industrial equipment or hydraulics, ideally in an aftermarket or service-focused role.
  • Proven ability to build customer relationships and close deals in a technical sales environment.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and service operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel across the US (up to 50%).
  • CRM proficiency and MS Office skills.

  • Product management leadership experience.
  • Successful proven experience in developing and leading an aggressive Aftermarket growth initiative including brand development.
  • Experience in developing alternative channels to market, online web store and building an inside sales organization.
  • Experience in hydraulic cylinder products or similar industrial/mechanical components preferred.
  • Knowledge of maintenance contracts, service agreements, and MRO sales cycles preferred.
  • Technical background or hands-on familiarity with hydraulic repair and refurbishment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a national aftermarket sales strategy to meet revenue and margin targets.
  • Manage and grow relationships with OEMs, end-users, distributors, and service partners.
  • Promote and sell spare parts, repair kits, maintenance services, retrofits, and upgrade programs.
  • Identify opportunities for customer lifecycle value enhancement through tailored service offerings.
  • Work closely with the Service and Engineering teams to align offerings with technical needs and lead times.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, prepare quotations, and manage contract execution for aftermarket deals.
  • Analyze customer data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and competitor positioning.
  • Provide regular forecasting, sales pipeline reporting, and customer feedback to management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer visits across the US.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely response and proactive service follow-up.
  • Expand market presence globally by identifying and entering new markets and strengthening relationships with new and existing OEM customers.
  • Lead sales initiatives to enter new markets and diversify go to market channels to gain better capital equipment and aftermarket business mix.
  • Develop and execute a robust commercial strategy with a focus on customer engagement, improving pricing, and competitive positioning.
