About The Position

The Aftermarket Sales Associate is responsible for the administration and placement of standard part orders made by customers through the Service Parts Department. Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Location: Knoxville, TN Pay Range: Dependent on Experience | $55,000 - $85,000 Benefits: Group Medical, Dental Vision, 401(k) Match, Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, and Paid Sick Time. +Employer Paid Benefits: STD, LTD, Life AD&D

Requirements

Prior sales and a customer service experience
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Able to work overtime as required

Responsibilities

Analyzes the quote submittals of customers for repair and replacement of standardized parts.
Ensures understanding of compliance of drawings, specifications and other customer requirements.
Provides customer quotes as required to facilitate processing using standardized pricing.
Works closely with both national and international distributor base.
Interfaces with manufacturing support departments (Warehousing, Shipping and Receiving, Service, and Quality Control) to resolve delivery problems.
Monitors the shipping forecasts of aftermarket parts to determine order status to achieve on-time delivery objectives.
Interfaces with the Accounts Receivables departments of customers to discuss outstanding invoices and facilitates collection process when needed.
Review orders for completeness, specifications, and accuracy of part numbers and prices.
Regular contact with customers to clarify information when necessary.
Responsible for entering orders and securing shipping.
Reviews customer and shipping information to facilitate delivery.
Inputs order information into parts ordering system.
May assist with the processing of more complex parts orders under the direction of aftermarket sales manager or director.
Other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
