You will join the Americas Adhesive and Fluids Commercial Team in charge of managing and growing our revenue and profitability through both key account management as well as targeted business development in select value chains. Location: Preference is the Detroit, MI area (Auburn Hills office location). Travel: Some expected. You will report to the AMS Automotive Commercial Leader and work closely with key account managers and R&D/innovation and technical colleagues.

Requirements

• Minimum BS degree in Engineering or Business (sales/marketing).
• Minimum 5 years of Business experience in Sales, Marketing, Product Management.
• Experience in/knowledge of the Automotive industry and engineering/launch processes.
• Experience with adhesives, B-I-W joining technologies.
• Experience in/knowledge of vehicle electrification trends/battery assembly techniques.

• Understands and have used key selling and marketing principles automotive value chains.
• Ability to develop, communicate and sell unique value propositions.

Responsibilities

• Leading the implementation of significant new innovation/growth initiatives at key accounts – designing/coordinating all aspects of the product launch and customer experience including aligning manufacturing plans with operations, product packaging and delivery plans as well as managing any required on-going technical field support.
• Identify, prioritize and lead targeted growth initiatives – platform and/or specific projects – to build both current revenue and future revenue pipeline.
• Project management leadership for growth programs at key customers – integrating and aligning R&D, marketing, technical and manufacturing resources.
• Develop/Refine and execute marketing strategies in both existing and emerging areas in order to grow our revenue and profitability.
• Be responsible to identify and prioritize unmet market needs and to drive new product and/or solutions to deliver against those needs.
• Successfully execute launch plans for these new products/solutions.
• Lead specific growth projects or application plans at the customer (existing or new), integrating technical and commercial resources as appropriate.
